I heart faces-Pet week
I am constantly amazed by Tank. He is truly the best dog I have ever known. He was hit by a car going 50 mph almost two years ago. The truck just drove off and left him. LEFT HIM. The vet says it was a miracle he survived, he had rods going through his body and we knew it would be a long recovery. He was my brother's dog, but he needed a more permanent home with a loving family. I said yes, we would take care of him. However, it seems more like he is taking care of US. He sleeps in my daughter's room and doesn't leave her side. When she goes outside to play, he stays right by HER, watching her every move. He is getting old. My daughter adores him and I don't know how much longer he will be with us. That is why I absolutely adore moments like this one. Not many boys would play tea party on a hot June day. Just another reason why we love Tank. For more pet photos go to I heart faces!

The story gave me CHILLS! One.. because those people LEFT him and he still survived and Two... he is your little girl's protector! Dogs amaze me and Tank is definitely EXTRA special!
What a wonderful friend Tank is, and so lucky to have a loving family. :)
That just totally made me melt! :)

I have tears in my eyes! This is absolutely precious!! I hope Tank has many more years with you and your fam :)
That is just so sweet. How amazing that you caught that moment between them. Truly lovely.
What a great tea party guest! This is such a sweet photo.
What a sweet story - and a sweet picture to go along with it! Wonderful capture!
Some dogs are truly noble creatures. I had one like Tank, and we lost him last year. He taught us a lot too :)
Love this image and love it even more after reading what you wrote!
Reminds me of my childhood dog. Very special times.

Oh how sweet. little girls and their dogs are the best.
What an amazing boy you have!!
I love his gentle and loving manner, he looks like he enjoying his tea party.
absolutely precious! What a friend!
One of my favorites - by far! Great capture of a memory she will have forever.
Oh how precious! Thanks for stopping by.
Oh goodness! This is just like our Rosie Toes that was hit by a car. She never left our daughter's side either. It's so easy to take a good pet for granted. Sometimes it's hard to realize just how wonderful they are and how much they take care of us until they are gone. Cherish your moments with this sweet boy. I do think he was meant to be yours ♥
Lovely pic of the two of them, by the way :)
