I ♥ Faces* Hilarious Outtakes!
This week over at I ♥ faces the contest is hilarious outtakes and I knew I didn't have to look far. Being a photographer these are some of my favorites, I love when a group can let loose and ham it up for the camera. They are letting us put five photos in, thank goodness because I couldn't decide between some of these! Which is your favorite? For more photos that make you smile head over to I ♥ Faces!

Just for Evan
These three boys were a complete joy to photograph. They were all smiles and so very cooperative. Their Dad, Evan was out of town so we just took some pictures of their three boys. Quade has the most absolute blue and yummy eyes I have ever seen. He didn't want to sit still for too long, that is until the end when we were done. Then he lounged himself out on the ground and started posing, it was great. These boys were all just too handsome...thanks guys!

I ♥ Faces/ Week 49-Pets Only!
Meet Tank. He is the best dog ever. He has been shuffled through 4 different homes (but loved at all). My brother in law came to live with us and when he moved out Tank stayed. Yeah! Tank was hit by a truck going 50 miles in a 30mph speed zone and was thrown 50 feet. The truck just drove off and left him. Luckily my father in law was there and another truck came by and helped get him to the vet. He was left severely injured. He had a rod through his leg and scars everywhere. He still limps, but now a year later he is almost as good as new. Thank goodness. He is truly the best dog ever. He lets my kids do just about anything to him-this picture is proof. My son Blake was a nerd for Halloween and thought it would be the funniest thing to put the nerd glasses on Tank, I think it makes him look smart, what do you think? The Fabulous {C} Family
When Blake's kindergarten teacher asked me to take family pictures for her I was so excited! She was the best teacher. Not only did Blake adore and love her, she loved and adored him as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Kali can get her next year! I went out to where she lives and I was so excited for a new location, the pictures looked amazing. Here's your sneak peek Shelli!

Never a dull moment
We're never quite sure what to expect when we meet a family, and this time was no exception. My friend Kami had told me her family was going to be in town for Thanksgiving and I was so excited to take their pictures. From the moment we met all of her brothers they had us laughing. There were moments that the lens was shaking because I was laughing so hard. Our very favorite photo was a family favorite of theirs too. It really showed off each of the personalities of the grown children, it's the second photo down. They were truly a blast and we had such a fun time. You could tell baby Crew was a first grandchild-he was spoiled with love.
I ♥ Faces/Week 48-Sweet Dreams
When we saw the theme for this week's contest we knew exactly what photo we had to enter. Of course it is our favorite sleeping baby Ms. Maura! This was one of our favorite shoots of all time. Maura was fabulous and her parents were too. Her Daddy is in the military and wanted us to use his helmet and dog tags in the photo somehow-it turned out perfect! Sweet Dreams Ms. Maura-to view other sweet dream photos go visit I Heart Faces!

Ready for take off
We have been extremely busy these past few weeks with everyone trying to get their Christmas photos taken! We have had shoots nearly every day for the past two weeks, but we have loved every minute of it! We have met some amazing families and funny kids and it never gets old. The other night we had a big photo shoot at the Dallas Flight Museum. We were the photographers for the Dallas chapter of cosmetic chemists. There were nearly 600 people there and we were the roving photographers. There was the main dinner and induction of officers, casino tables, fortune teller, caricature artist and dancing. We even had a few minutes to explore and have some fun of our own! Hopefully I can get the rest of the pictures up from all we've been doing lately!

2 kids, 2 crutches and 2 dogs-a first!
Our last session with Jack and Claire went so well! Claire had injured herself rock climbing a few days before and fractured her foot so she traveled from spot to spot on crutches, what a trooper! Their mom also wanted some photos with the dogs who sat still long enough for us to capture some great shots. These two kids were so photogenic and cooperative that everything went so quickly and turned out great, thanks!
Of course we had to get a picture with her crutches!
Jack was so handsome
We were trying to get Claire to show us her serious side and instead caught this candid which I just love!

What luck!
We have been BUSY! We have found a new favorite spot to take pictures at and it is fabulous! We took pictures of the Hannah;s the other day and they were so fun to work with. The dad kept us constantly laughing, Alec couldn't seem to keep a straight face and the girls loved taking photos. While we were at our new spot the man who owns the land came by and he was driving a great old Chevy. He let us use it and here is what we got! More to come with this family because we have more great things to show you!

Learning what works
The first time you meet a client you want to make sure they feel completely comfortable. It always seems easier with little kids because they usually aren't shy about anything at all. We shot a great family the other day and their oldest was Jessie a teenager. At the beginning she was a bit timid, but by the end she really opened up and we couldn't get her to stop taking pictures! We have learned form there one magic word:
Facebook.
All we need to do is tell them they will have some fabulous photos for their facebook page and they are game to try anything. We just love the shots we got of her. It was also fun to watch their family dynamic, these other photos show just how much fun they have with each other.

I ♥ Faces/Week 46 Sun Flare Photo
We are trying something new! One of my good friends suggested we check out this blog and we love it! The challenge for this week is sun flare. We have been playing around with using sun flare which is hard to achieve, but so fun to try! Who would have ever guessed this couple has 3 kids-and the oldest is a teenager!

Two Turkeys
It was so fun to see our friends Owen and Grace again! They were one of our very first photo shoots that we had and they were back again! Owen and Grace are twins who get along incredibly well. They loved being goofy together and really loved the chance to make silly faces for the camera...nothing is better than a happy returning client and getting the chance to watch them grow!

Sisters are the best
We had the opportunity to capture a family with 3 little girls, they were stunning. Mom had them all dressed so cute which got us excited! S, G and J were so sweet to each other. If Miss J wasn't smiling, the other two girls would do anything to try and make her laugh. I can see that as these girls grow they will certainly have an amazing relationship. Thanks for a great photo shoot, we really loved capturing your adorable family!
