I ♥ Faces/ Week 49-Pets Only!

Meet Tank. He is the best dog ever. He has been shuffled through 4 different homes (but loved at all). My brother in law came to live with us and when he moved out Tank stayed. Yeah! Tank was hit by a truck going 50 miles in a 30mph speed zone and was thrown 50 feet. The truck just drove off and left him. Luckily my father in law was there and another truck came by and helped get him to the vet. He was left severely injured. He had a rod through his leg and scars everywhere. He still limps, but now a year later he is almost as good as new. Thank goodness. He is truly the best dog ever. He lets my kids do just about anything to him-this picture is proof. My son Blake was a nerd for Halloween and thought it would be the funniest thing to put the nerd glasses on Tank, I think it makes him look smart, what do you think? Sweet, sweet... he DOES look like he should be named "Peabody"! So glad that he has recovered and that he is loved. A face like that needs to be loved!

Hahahahaha, I can't stop giggling! That is awesome!! What a smart lookin' pup. It always breaks my heart to read stories where pets are harmed due to careless behaviour...but this one has a happy ending!!! Great indeed!

trying to type thru my tears....as a dog-lover and a huge lab-lover, (my black lag is named Tugboat, by the way) this really touched me! I am a budding-photographer and have recently taken on work as an assistant photographer and I love, love, love the photo!
