I heart faces-dramatic B&W
This week over at I heart faces it's all about being dramatic or moody in B&W. As soon as I pulled this image up on my computer I knew this was it. My son had just finished running a boosterthon race at school. They had to earn money from family and friends for every lap that they ran. I saw so many wonderful moments unfold as they were running. I saw students stopping to help someone who was having a hard time, teachers cheering on students and kids feeling good about themselves no matter how fast or far they could run. Parents were asked to take a victory lap with their child, but I stayed a bit behind just in case a moment happened. Happen it did. My son was walking with his two buddies. They took a moment to celebrate, and so did I. I celebrated being a parent of a fabulous child who is determined to do anything he puts his mind to. I can't think of anything else more dramatic for me. Enjoy...tear, tear. For more drama head on over to I heart faces!

I heart faces-All about angles!
I love angles! I love turning my camera, getting down on the ground-anything for a little variety. I think my daughter is just about the cutest thing ever (I'm allowed to). She just isn't always the most willing participant when it comes to taking photos. Last month she actually WANTED to go take photos-I practically tripped flying out the door in fear that she might change her mind. We had a blast. I wanted to document this very rare day and one of my favorite photos ever was created. I love that girl and I love spending time with her doing one of my favorite things! For more fabulous angle shots head on over to I heart faces!

Pure Bliss
I got a call on Thursday night from one of my dear friends, she needed pictures done the next day! I called up Anne and we juggled our schedules and got her in (cause that's the kind of gals we are here...). I started working on the photos and I just LOVE everything about this one. You can tell Lauren and Joey are newlyweds and in love. We had a great time yesterday, the whole family was a riot. Thanks so much Leslie, the rest of your sneak peek will be up soon!

I Heart faces-Bundled up!
We never get snow here in Texas, this year we got it two days in a row! Last time we got snow my sweet Kali wanted nothing to do with it. This time she was all about it. She loved rolling around in it, throwing it, sledding in it, but most of all...eating it. I captured her first bite which is why I love this picture so much! To see more photos to keep you warm head on over to I heart faces!

Meet Mr. Clayton
The ideal age for newborn photos is within the first ten days of life. However, we were asked to shoot Clayton who is almost 6 weeks old. We weren't sure what to expect, but he was an absolute JOY. He was sweet, cooperative and surprisingly strong! When we were all done he fell asleep and we just had to keep shooting to get those sleepy pictures. What more could we ask for from this little guy? I know...how about an ADORABLE big brother! Once Connor warmed up to us he was a total ham and he had eyes to die for! Thanks so much Mary Jane, we loved spending time with you and your boys and can't wait for family photos!

I ♥ Faces* Jump for Joy
I must say that I am a sucker for a great jump shot. I can usually keep a kid happy during a shoot by telling them I"ll take a photo of them jumping and then I"ll show it to them. I have quite a few jumping shots that I could choose from, but I just love the faces of each of the guys in this photo. I really love how the groom is giving a superman pose, it is his day after all. They were as giddy as the little kids to do a jumping shot. For other shots that make you wanna jump, jump (thanks Kris Kross) head on over to I heart faces!

I ♥ Faces* Hilarious Outtakes!
I LOVE hilarious outtakes week...it's my favorite! I always have a hard time choosing just five, but after some time I've finally narrowed down my selection for your laughing pleasure. If you're in need of a good laugh go check out the other photos over at I heart faces!
We were SO into the Bachelor this year. Maybe it's because he lives down the street from my friend and we got to meet him...anyway we knew we HAD to have a bachelor finale viewing party this year...here's our reaction after he picked Vienna- did anyone else out there feel the same way? (that's me on the right, I was so Team Tenley! Is anyone else singing On the Wings of Love right now?)
What a lovely picture of our cousin at Thanksgiving...check out who else wanted to be in the picture...Hello Mr. random gorilla!
My husband comes from a family of 6 boys...we can never seem to get a serious picture without getting one of these first...
Here's all of our kiddos...I just laugh when I look at this one!
This senior was a blast to work with, he just couldn't resist...
